The FR-S got some new "track shoes."
Went up to another rallycross in Wisconsin this weekend (pics coming soon), and bought this set of 17x7 Kosei K1 TS wheels from an autocrosser up there.
The wheels are in great condition, and very light (14.6lbs each). I'm really looking forward to using these instead of a 2nd set of OEM wheels. Now they just need 255/40/17 Star Specs and I'll be set! I think a friend and I are gonna road trip to TireRack headquarters to pick up our autocross tires, once the tax returns come in.
This whole apartment thing is turning into a real space issue though... lol

Those are nice, but when I first looked at them, I thought you just snatched up a set of first gen tC wheels...
Then, I realized they're not the same. Similar, but not the same. :/

I've actually thought about getting a set of tC wheels as a winter set, but I will probably go with 16" steelies for next winter with some 205/55s.

Thanks! I'm pretty excited to have some better wheels for this season. Pretty much the only mods I have left to do within CS are a front sway bar and Koni adjustable shocks (or re-valved Bilstein B6s).

Can't go wrong with steelies. Now all you need are some Toyota 86 RC bumpers.

Aren't those just the same as the stock bumpers but painted black?

I'm pretty sure they're not painted at all.

I would make a bedframe out of jackstands and wheels.
1. gets wheels and stands out of way
2. lifts bed for more storage
3. all the money and ladeez.

Once the wheels have tires on them and can be stacked on top of each other I will be putting them back in the corner, with the rotating spring/winter tires from my daily OEM wheels.

Nice! I bought very similar ones for my Miata last summer. Lighter than Einkei (or however its spelled) and much cheaper.

Nice! I actually wanted K4Rs since they're lighter, but it seems like they're less common than the K1 TS wheels. The normal K1s are really popular in spec E30.

Oh gotcha. I was looking for light and cheap

K4Rs will do the trick!
I was going for the same thing. It was pretty much K1 TSs, K4Rs, or used RPF1s.
